Crouse-Hinds FCB-12 and TWR 300mm Beacons
Here's a video looking at a couple more 300mm beacons and a TWR AA1M flasher unit I have. I want to make the TWR unit into a conversation pice lamp. I plan on gutting it and retrofitting normal sockets into in and mounting it on a short piece of 45G tower.

Long overview video of my Federal Sign & Signal Thunderbolt 1003A siren. This is a 1975 unit with a converted single-phase 4M-A2 blower and converted RCM. I have the siren on a rolling cart and go over some components I have changed out and those that are original to the siren. I also describe the operation of each component as it pertains the operation of the siren.

Overview video of my Crouse-Hinds FCB-12. I believe this unit came from as surplus from the Montana Dept. of Aeronautics. I am unsure of its actual use, be it an airport code beacon or part of their former lighted airway system. I don't think this unit was ever put into service, but it appears to have sat outside at least partially exposed to the elements for some time.

Monthly test of the Garland Outdoor Warning System. Garland upgraded their system a few years ago to Whelens. They had ATI's which replaced their legacy ACA system. Here is a video of Amarillo's last remaining AL-4000 siren. As you can see it is basically useless at this point, so I hope they replace it soon. This siren was previously recorded by KDKsiren a few years ago, and it seemed to be working alright at that point. Apologies for the crooked camera, I forgot my tripod so I ended up putting my iPhone on the bumper of the truck.

Video of a monthly test of the McKinney, TX outdoor warning siren system. This unit is one of about 30 mixed WPS-4008 and 28/2910 electronic sirens in the city. McKinney uses the alternate Whelen tone set, and is tested the first Saturday of the month at 12:00PM.

Growing up with these sirens, the scariest sound to me is the hi lo relay. I don't know. It's sort of a repetitious panic sound.

Unfourtunatly the 2T22's in Moore are gone now. A lot of them were destroyed by the 2013 EF5 while the others were all just old. Pretty sure Moore has FS 2001 sirens now. Either way this is a really nice sounding siren.
That’s… not true at all. Only 1 2T22 and 1 Modulator were destroyed in the tornado. Which were quickly replaced. They still have the same system. They have 1 older 2001 which has been there since the 1990s, 4 508s, 4 2T22s, 5 Thunderbolts, and 28 Modulators
